APPBOSA BEGINS EXPORTING SPP BANANAS TO SWEDEN

 
In July the APPBOSA Agricultural Cooperative began exporting bananas to Sweden under the brand name “SAMAN ORGANIC SPP.” Biodynamiska Produkter (SBP) is the company that will commercialize the bananas in Sweden. More>>

SPP AT WORLD SOCIAL FORUM 2016

 

On August 9-14, 2016, the World Social Forum was held in the Canadian city of Montreal. This forum is considered the largest civil society conference for dialoguing and working on solutions to the current global problems.

The Small Producers’ Symbol was at the event, represented by some of its members, who participated by sharing the realities experienced by Latin American small producers, as well as the particular experiences of some of the cooperatives that belong to the SPP. More>>

The Unión de Productores Orgánicos Beneficio Majomut is a non-profit organization made up of small coffee producers in the Los Altos de Chiapas region of Mexico. It was created with the objective of improving the living conditions for families of the small producers belonging to this organization, through the production and marketing of high-quality organic products, in harmony with the environment, and through food diversification for food security. CHANGES IN THE “D-SPP” SYSTEM

 

At the end of 2015, SPP Global (previously FUNDEPPO) began to implement an online system for SPP certification and registration (D-SPP).

The objective of D-SPP is to have an online platform that facilitates communication, coordination and service between certified and registered stakeholders, SPP Global and its authorized Certification Entities (CE). More>>
