The Small Producers’ Symbol is organizing the first-ever International Competition for Peasant, Organic and Fair Trade Cocoa (Concurso Internacional de Cacaos Campesinos, organicos y justos). 31 cooperatives will take part in this competition introduced and led by SPP. At least 23 of them will be present on the SPP stand to talk about their practices and know-how, and to share their experiences with the public. For this year’s Salon du Chocolat trade show, taking place in Paris from October 28 to November 1, the general public is invited to drop by to taste and crown the best chocolate made from organic and fair trade beans. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on November 1, i.e., the final day of Salon du Chocolat 2022.
