My Intermediary/Maquila Company is not SPP Registered, what should I do?

If your Organization is unable to carry out processing, exportation or marketing activities on its own, it must subcontract these services to an SPP certified Small Producers’ Organization.

If the above is not feasible, you can request SPP for a control permission to Subcontract Services. To do this, you must send a letter to the email cert@spp.coop with the following information:

  1. Name of the subcontracted company
  2. Value of SPP transactions
  3. Percentage of company’s total transactions value represented by SPP transactions
